Emergency Hard Fork

The Ghost team has found a critical issue in the RingCT code which requires a hardfork Friday, March 5th, at 11:00am CST. Please update your Ghost Desktop Wallet and Nodes immediately. https://github.com/ghost-coin/ghost-desktop/releases

The team has been working around the clock to fix this critical issue and make the necessary preparations. To fix this issue, Ghost requires an immediate hardfork which will also temporarily disable RingCT and CT transactions up until a second hardfork soon to come.

To ensure the smoothest hardfork possible, it is paramount that users urgently download and install the new Ghost Desktop:

If you use Ghostman, please update it immediately by typing out this command: cd ~ && cd ghostman && git reset 6aff82e1a0fe47b08302e94b0f7b304d594edcca –hard && git pull && cd

Updating is mandatory for you to end up on proper chain and will help stabilize the blockchain faster. Do not make any transaction using any of the older, Ghost versions as they will not show up after updating.
